Product Information
ALBON® (sulfadimethoxine) is effective for treating a wide range of bacterial infections commonly encountered in dogs and cats. It is indicated for use in dogs and cats with respiratory, genitourinary tract and soft-tissue infections. It is also indicated for treating dogs with bacterial enteritis associated with coccidiosis.

Side Effects
This product is considered to be well tolerated when used as prescribed. This product may cause diarrhea. Sulfa crystals may appear in your pet's urine. Your pet should be allowed to drink plenty of water while taking this medication. Other more rare side effects that may occur with sulfonamide antibiotics include: dry eye syndrome, anemia, fever, loss of appetite, vomiting or diarrhea, joint inflammation, kidney damage, and skin rash. Stop the medication and contact your veterinarian if any of the above symptoms occur.
Other side effects may also occur. Talk to your veterinarian about any side effect that seems unusual or bothersome to your pet. If your pet experiences an allergic reaction, signs may include facial swelling, hives, scratching, sudden onset of diarrhea, vomiting, shock, seizures, or coma. If these signs occur, contact your veterinarian immediately.
Usage
An oral dosing syringe is provided with each order. Administer ALBON® as directed by your veterinarian. Read the prescription label and follow the enclosed usage instructions. Shake the bottle well prior to each use.
Cautions
WARNING: Not for human use.
PRECAUTION: During treatment period, make certain your pet maintains adequate water intake. Contact your veterinarian if your pet shows no improvement within 2-3 days of starting the treatment.
